Our stay at No. 4 Black Bull Barn was worth every penny with a well-equipped and tidy room. The central location made it easy to explore the nearby Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. The friendly staff were attentive but not intrusive, and the welcome pack was a thoughtful touch.

More breakfast choices would have made our stay even better.

Stayed at a lovely barn in the town centre, tucked away on a quiet back road. the accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed, including a large shower and comfy bed. the welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, with treats for both humans and our dog. the location was perfect, just around the corner from town and convenient for walks in the area. Private parking made things even better.

Wonderful location in a central spot, perfect for exploring both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Spacious and comfortable apartment with all the amenities we needed.- The welcome basket was a lovely surprise, especially after a long drive.

The utensils could have had tongues for easier handling of the food while cooking. We forgot to clean the grill tray, sorry about that!

Great value for money, cozy and clean room with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from shops and facilities. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and left treats and wine for my birthday celebration.

The breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of options.

We had a wonderful stay at Black Bull Barn in Kirkby Stephen. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the village and close to everything we wanted to see. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly caring and even left birthday treats and wine for us to enjoy. The nearby restaurants, like Mango Tree and Santorini Pizza/Kebab, were amazing and took great pride in ensuring our safety. The barn itself was well-equipped with everything we needed and had a nice, quiet atmosphere. Despite a few minor inconveniences like struggling with the washer and a lack of electrical outlets, we were overall very happy with our stay. We would definitely recommend Black Bull Barn to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay in Kirkby Stephen.

The accommodation was extremely welcoming and clean, making it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The bed was really comfortable, providing a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was amazing, with great facilities. Additionally, the location was excellent, especially for those who enjoy walking, as it was conveniently situated for exploring the coast to coast trail. The value for money was also excellent, with everything we needed provided, and even some thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and biscuits waiting for us.

While the overall experience was positive, there were a couple of minor downsides. there were no tongues in the utensils, making it a bit challenging to pick up bacon and sausages from the grill tray.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was stunning. I was pleasantly surprised to find milk in the fridge and biscuits waiting for me upon arrival. The location was perfect for me as I was walking a section of the coast to coast, and the accommodation worked perfectly for that. My husband, who usually doesn't comment on places we stay, even said, "This is nice, isn't it? " which is high praise coming from him. I will definitely be returning to Black Bull Barn in the future. I highly recommend this accommodation.
